Also known as the Florida Space Coast, Brevard County is situated in the center of Florida’s east coast between Miami and Jacksonville, and has a population of more than 545,000. Named for Theodore Washington Brevard, Brevard County comprises roughly 1,555 square miles and about 500 of those are designated to water.
